For me, one of the highlights of this spring’s anarchist bookfair in San Francisco was the opportunity it provided to reconnect with the squatting scene in the Bay Area. In several communities I’ve visited recently, there has been much discussion of squatting. And, as luck would have it, over the weekend of the bookfair, there was a screening of the film Shelter – a Squatumentary.
